During this period, hi5 may be entirely or partially unavailable as we perform extensive hardware and data migration on the infrastructure of hi5.com. We plan to begin this process on Tuesday, Feb. 28th at 10pm Pacific (-8:00 GMT/UTC) and restore access to all hi5 users midnight (12am) (Friday afternoon) on Friday, Mar. 2nd. Thanks for your patience as we complete this transition! We hope to make all of hi5 available as quickly as possible! (Note: This change will not affect Tagged.com users. It is for hi5.com users only.)
Why is this outage so long?
As you may know, Tagged recently acquired hi5 and we're working to bring all of that data and hardware into a single location. This massive project requires the transfer of data for millions of users, as well as the physical relocation of hundreds of hardware components. We'll do our best to stay on schedule or even finish early if possible!
Where can I follow updates on the status of this project?
As we progress, we'll post updates here in our Site Status News and on the official hi5 Twitter account. Check either one of them to see how things are going! You can tweet @hi5 to respond. Hi5 users are currently unable to login or post in this Community during the transition, but you'll be able to comment, ask questions and share feedback here once after we complete this project!
