I hear some of you would like to remove or hide the Group Chat feature in Elections and we hear you loud and clear!

If you would like to enable or disable this feature, please follow these steps:

-Run your mouse over 'Account' at the top right of the Nav bar and click 'Settings'.

-Under the Privacy tab, click 'Edit Applications' which is located within 'Privacy Settings'.

-Towards the bottom of the list, you will find a box to check or uncheck if you would like to use Group Chat.

-Click 'Save'

thank you for making this an option... the addition of the chat feature seriously degraded page load time and functionality and overall playability.... i'm sure having the chat feature sounded beneficial in theory.... but the reality of implementation is MOSTLY negative... for the following reasons

1- Lags page load time

2- Lags functioning of game buttons

3- majority of conversations in chat feature have little to do with game play

4- security risks / privacy concerns / spam exposure

5- potential for being used as a conduit for abusive behavior

due to all these reasons and for causing overall playablility to suffer... i recommend tagged remove this unrequested and undesired feature
